# Yield generation

DEBT coming from the Tier below and transaction fees coming from the Tier above will be added in the staking pool of your own Tier with every relevant transaction. Holding your tokens long enough or accumulating them will put you as a creditor instead of a debtor which will let your balance rise faster than it decreases.

*Example*

*If you are in the 2nd Tier with 49 other holders and your balance accounts for 2% of the DEBT tokens held in this Tier, you’ll receive 2% of the daily DEBT from the 3rd Tier users, as well as 2% of all transactions fees from the 1st Tier users.*
